Shipping and Handling rates are based on rates proposed by UPS or USPS, depending on location for delivery, and the price of packing material required to get your items to you safely. Once your package is shipped, you will get an email from UPS containing your tracking information.

When shop updates go live I keep the shipping to the contiguous United States. But if you really really want a piece of mine, please do reach out. I have been happy in the past to work something out if we figure out the cost of shipping.
-
Shoot me a message. Not all requests will be entertained, but if we come up with something that sounds fun, I am happy to take on custom orders.
-
I am currently just one person that makes everything by hand. So generally the answer is no. But (again) reach out with ideas/proposals. We can discuss and decide together if a larger order can make sense. Timelines and price will be the biggest considerations.

I put the Loon pots we have at our house in the dishwasher all the time. This is part of them being designed for everyday use.
Technically repeated washing can ware the pots out faster, but that is true with so many things. I am not going to not wear my favorite jeans because washing them wears them out faster. And I am not going to hand wash everything (just not realistic for me). -
The short answer is Yes!
I select clay bodies and glazes that are formulated to be food safe. I fire them in a way that is intended to make them food safe.
The more complicated answer: There are some pots that have small cracks in the glaze or unglazed surfaces. With these pots, I always recommend washing them in really hot water from time to time (say in a dishwasher). This will kill any bacteria that can form. I am sure you have pots in your house right now that you drink out of that have small cracks, it is the same thing.

This one is a bit more complicated: some of the pots have glazes that are high in iron or other metals. Microwaves tend not to like this. This can cause damage to your microwave or the pot.
In addition, some of the atmospheric fired pots and pots with shino glazes can sometimes be prone to cracking when microwaved. So I tend not to microwave them.
You can always microwave in another container and transfer - for final enjoyment.
