Plate Stack
Set of white stoneware plates. Decorated with a yellow flashing slip and one half of each plate being dipped in an iron rich flashing slip.. Soda fired. Marks are created by stacking other work on top of the tiles in the kiln. These plates got a really crusty texture in the area where the two flashing slips overlapped. They aren’t functional because of this, but will make a lovely wall piece.
