White stoneware mug, coated with a yellow flashing slip. Lined with a copper-based glaze. Soda fired. This piece was placed in a part of the kiln that gets an extreme amount of soda ash deposited. There is no glaze on the exterior of this piece — the surface is created in collaboration with the kiln and the soda.
